Scottish Reduction in Antimicrobial Prescribing (ScRAP)

We have developed a range of interventions to support reduction of unnecessary use of antibiotics for self-limiting respiratory tract infections and improve management of urinary tract infections (UTIs).

ScRAP educational toolkit 

Launched in October 2013 and revised in 2021, the Scottish Reduction in Antimicrobial Prescribing (ScRAP) is an educational toolkit to help prescribers to reduce unnecessary prescribing of antibiotics.
